Light and Easy

Golden Number Ale      $5/pint
Golden ales are a delicate balance of malt and hops. To achieve this perfect balance, we based the ratio of malt and hops upon the actual golden number, the Fibonacci Sequence, or Phi as the Greeks knew it. This number’s pervasive appearance throughout nature creates a sense of balance, harmony and beauty in art, architecture, composition, space – and now beer! Some believe this number is a universal constant of design, the signature of God. (Some believe it is a perfect ratio of malt and hops.)  And for those of you playing along at home, the actual number is 1.6180339887…

Venus         $5/pint

Be careful. This beer is named after the Goddess of Love for a reason. It is rumored to have powerful effects on those who dare to imbibe! It is a Belgian white beer and brewed with orange peel and coriander as well as wheat, barley and a touch of oats. So try a pint and turn your love light on!

Haiku Trippel     $9.95/13.3 oz Schwenker

Trippels are one of the most beautiful, wonderful beers ever brewed by man. There is just something majestic about them. No simple

beer description could capture that. So I had to write a haiku for the description.

Juicy Belgian Golden     $5/Schwenker

A lighter bodied beer with a beautiful gold color. Although not bitter at all, it is full of tropical fruit, melon and white wine like flavors and aromas.

Marzen Lager $6.95 for 1/2 liter stein

It is a traditional German lager, copper in color and brewed with all German barley and European noble hops. It has been lagered - or conditioned – for three months. It has a smooth, beautiful, soft maltiness from the German barley. Prost!

Hoppy and Refreshing


Echo St IPA    $6.50/pint
This has such an incredible aroma coming out of the glass. We hopped it in the kettle with Citra, Equinox, Nelson, El Dorado, Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade and Falconers. We then dry hopped it with Citra, Huel Melon and a touch more nelson.


Mikshake IPA      $6.50/pint
OoLala, lookkee here at what we just did. We added fresh fruit, real vanilla bean and a bit of lactose sugar to our IPA. Yes, it’s tasty.

Muscadine IPA   $6.50/pint

Our delicious IPA with local muscadine grapes added to give it that Southern touch of sweetness.


Tom Brady Avenue NE IPA       $6.50/Pint

New England IPAs are all the rage. Cloudy, smooth and with loads of tropical fruity hop aromas and flavors. This one is a nod to the Golden Boy of New England and the street on the next block. We brewed ours with all English barley and a good bit of oats. All of the hops went into the whirlpool – which means that it has a BIG aroma with very little bitterness. We added loads and loads of Citra, Nelson, Equinox, El Dorado, Huell Melon and Mandarina - and then even more Citra – then we dry hopped it three times with Citra, Huell Melon and more Nelson.    



Dark and Delicious



Ron’s Export Porter           $5.50/pint

Local beer historian, Ron Smith, came to us and suggested we brew an old Export Porter recipe. Since our Brewmaster also loves beer and history – and had already had a couple of pints - he thought it was a great idea and agreed to do it! Export porter is a bit stronger and has more hops than ‘regular’ porter. The higher alcohol level and increased hopping rates would allow the beer to survive the long shipping times. We used a heritage breed of barley, Chevallier, that was grown during the 19th century and has a prominent warm cracker and biscuit malt aroma. Together with some English brown malt which was also popular in the 1800s the malt profile is full without being heavy. It’s dark, robust and smooth – and we didn’t ship it anywhere.


Dr. Martin Moran’s Munich Dunkel Lager $6.95 for 1/2 liter stein

Dunkel means dark in German. The darker German malts provide not only color, but a rich, smooth, sweet maltiness, with hints of bread crusts, chocolate, nuts and toffee. Dark brown, with a garnet hue, this medium bodied lager is immensely drinkable. The style originated in Bavaria and reflects that region’s adoration of brewing and beer.


Decadent Brown Ale      $5/Pint

This beer has a complex layering of flavors. From the malt side there are rich notes of chocolate, berry, toast, biscuits, and toffee. It is quite hoppy for a brown ale with a spicy, earthy and even fruity hop character.

Fuller-Bodied Big Beers

Barleywine in ASW Fiddler Bourbon 1.24.17                      $9.95/13.3 oz schwenker

What a beautiful beer. Barleywines are such a perfect style of beer. Ours is brewed with English barley and boiled for over 4 hours to achieve a nice depth of malt flavor. We were lucky to get a Fiddler Bourbon barrel from our friends at ASW, the local distiller of the wonderful Fiddler Bourbon. We aged our barleywine in there for about 6 months. Rich, luscious and full of beer goodness.

Psychopomp aged in French Oak     Vintage 11.21.17         $9.95/Schwenker

‘Psychopomp’ is a creature, spirit or angel found in most religions that escorts and guides newly deceased souls to the afterlife. And that’s exactly what this beer will feel like. It’s a mahogany brown color with wonderful layers of malt. We smoked just a touch of malt over a mix of cherry wood and pecan wood – but the smokiness is so very subtle. The flavors imparted by the French Oak barrel add a nice vanilla note and some structure.



Nitro Rye Barrel-aged Marzen Lager $6.95 for 1/2 liter stein

We took our traditional Marzen Lager and aged some in a Resurgens Rye Whiskey barrel from our friends at ASW, the local distiller. The rye adds a nice spicy contrast to the soft German malt while the nitro lends a creamy smoothness.

Gluten Free!

Elmers Gluten Free     $5/Pint

A light and refreshing buckwheat and sorghum based beer. Fairly hoppy with a citrus nose. Best gluten free beer you will ever taste.




Sykophantes by Orpheus (Atlanta, GA)                 $6/Can

Abv 7.5%

In ancient Greece, “showing the fig” was a vulgar hand gesture, and Sykophantes means “one who shows the fig”. Earthy and full of dark fruit flavor from hundreds of pounds of figs and dark candy syrup, but with a sourness that cuts the gentle sweetness, Sykophantes is our fall beer.


Lord Grey by Three Taverns (Decatur, GA)         $6/Can

Abv 5%

Brewed originally as a collaboration with The Porter Beer Bar, this limited lacto-fermented sour balances beautifully against flavors of lavender and bergamot from the addition of Earl Grey tea.


Rapturous by Three Taverns (Decatur, GA)       $6/Can

A lacto-fermented sour ale, matured on raspberry puree with a wheat and pilsner malt base, it refreshes with a tart and alluring fruit-forward flavor profile.


Alchemy Stones by Paradox (Divide, CO)             $19.95/500mL

Abv 8.4%

Barrel-aged wild sour golden fruit ale with a mixed yeast and bacterial culture that produces notes of big overripe stone fruit, peaches, plums, nectarines and apricots. Re-fermenting this barrel blend on grilled stone fruit further emphasizes the taste of their luscious golden flesh.



Lindemans Framboise                                                  $7.95/8.45oz

Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean taste, with inviting raspberry supported by lambic complexity. Deep reddish-purple color with pink head.

Boon Kriek                                                                        $9.95/12.7oz

Abv 4%

Kriek Boon is a 100% spontaeous fermented beer made from a mix of young and old lambic aged in oak barrels. Real cherries are added, at least 250 gram per liter beer. Whole cherries are mixed with the beer during fermentation for optimal taste. Kriek Boon is a fresh, sweet and sour foaming reddish beer with an authentic taste of cherries. Boon uses champagne cork on the bottles.
